privacy policy

last updated 2026-04-30

This privacy policy explains what information the Pexor app collects, why, and how it is used. It is written in plain language. The legal defaults follow the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Austrian data protection law (DSG), and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) for users in California.

Who we are

Pexor is built and operated by Sven Plochberger, a private individual based in Austria. He is the data controller under Article 4(7) GDPR. To get in touch about this policy or your data, email psven595@gmail.com.

A data protection officer is not required under Article 37 GDPR because Pexor does not engage in large-scale or sensitive data processing. An EU representative under Article 27 is not required because the controller is established in the EU.

What we store on your device

The app stores the answers you give during onboarding (year of birth, height, weight, condition type, goals, equipment, training experience, schedule) and the sessions and stretches you mark complete. This information is stored locally on your device using the operating system's standard storage. It does not leave your device. We do not run a server. We cannot read your data.

The legal basis for this on-device processing is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of the contract you enter into by using the app to receive personalised programming) and your consent under Article 6(1)(a) where required.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising (required CCPA disclosure for California users). We do not use third-party analytics SDKs — no Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Firebase Analytics, Sentry, Crashlytics, Facebook SDK, or TikTok SDK. We do not use ad networks. We do not access your contacts, microphone, camera, photos, precise location, Apple Health, or Google Fit. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or government identifiers.

What Apple sees when you subscribe

Subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple, not by the developer. Apple is the merchant of record and an independent controller for payment data. The app receives only an anonymous receipt token from Apple confirming whether you have an active subscription. The developer does not receive your name, email, address, or payment details. Apple's privacy policy applies to that data: apple.com/legal/privacy.

Crash reports

Apple may collect anonymous crash reports if you have enabled "Share with App Developers" in iOS settings. Apple processes these reports under Apple's privacy policy. The developer uses them only to fix crashes. You can disable this in Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.

Retention

Your data stays on your device until you delete it. There is no server-side copy. You can clear it at any time by tapping "Reset everything" in the Profile screen or by deleting the app.

Your rights

Under GDPR — and the corresponding rights under CCPA, UK GDPR, and equivalent regimes — you have the right to access the personal data held about you (Art 15), correct it if inaccurate (Art 16), erase it (Art 17), restrict processing (Art 18), port it to another service (Art 20), object to processing (Art 21), and withdraw consent at any time (Art 7(3)).

Because all data is stored locally on your device, you can exercise the access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection rights at any time directly inside the app — by editing your profile or by tapping "Reset everything" in the Profile screen. For anything you cannot do in the app, email psven595@gmail.com and we will respond within one month.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian data protection authority (Datenschutzbehörde, dsb.gv.at) or with the supervisory authority of your country of residence.

Automated decision-making

We do not engage in automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects under Article 22 GDPR. Programming suggestions are generated on your device from the preferences you select.

Children

Pexor is for users aged 18 and over. The onboarding flow blocks anyone under 18 from completing setup. We do not knowingly collect or process personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has used the app, email psven595@gmail.com and we will assist with deletion.

International transfers

Because your data stays on your device, no international transfer of your personal data takes place on our side. Apple may process subscription metadata across regions under its own published privacy policy and standard contractual clauses.

Changes

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, the updated version will be published on this page with a new "last updated" date and, for material changes, a notice in the app the next time you open it.
