health disclaimer

last updated 2026-04-30

Pexor is a general fitness app. It is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition, including pectus excavatum, pectus carinatum, scoliosis, rib flare, or any related condition.

The exercises in this app are general strength, mobility, posture, and breathing routines that may also be used by people without any chest wall difference. Whether they are appropriate for you is a decision you make with your physician, surgeon, or qualified physical therapist.

Talk to a clinician first

Pectus excavatum and pectus carinatum are medical conditions. Severe cases can affect the heart and lungs and require evaluation by a thoracic surgeon. Bracing programs for pectus carinatum are prescribed and monitored by clinicians. This app does not replace any of that.

Talk to your doctor before starting any exercise in this app, especially if you have had chest or spine surgery (Nuss, Ravitch, or other), have chest pain, shortness of breath, palpitations, scoliosis, recent injury, a heart condition, or are pregnant.

Stop if it hurts

Stop any exercise that causes pain, dizziness, faintness, sharp chest pain, or unusual shortness of breath, and contact a clinician. You are responsible for your own safety while using this app.

No personalised medical advice

Programming in this app is generated from the preferences you select (goals, equipment, training frequency). It is not personalised medical advice. The app does not assess severity. It does not recommend or replace surgery, bracing, or any other medical treatment.

Emergencies

If you think you are having a medical emergency, call your local emergency number or go to the nearest emergency department.
